Instructions
1. Ingredients.
Wantan / dumpling.
Siew pak choy.
Mee suah.
Sesame seeds.
Sesame oil.
Pepper.
2. Preparation.
Cut siew pak choy into pieces.
Separate out the harder stems from the green leaves
3. Cooking
Heat up some sesame oil with some sesame seeds.
Add in water, wait for it to boil, then add wantan.
Add in the stems of the leaves.
After the stems softened, add in the leaves. Stir to ensure that the leaves are evenly cooked.
Switch off the fire once the leaves turn into a vibrant green.
Boil some water, then put in the mee suah.
The secret to having good mee suah is to continuously stir the mee suah to keep them apart while cooking.
4. Serving.
Drain water and pour mee suah into a bowl.
Immediately pour in the soup base onto the mee suah.
Add pepper and sesame seeds as desired, then serve.
